Blend is a
dance and party band whose name describes the types of music
they play -- everything from Bluegrass to ZZ-Top cover tunes
AND current Top 40 hits too! BLEND has been together for
four years, but it’s individual membership has a diverse
background spanning several years prior, working with many
other bands, the least of which is 12 years.

Music genres include Country,
Southern & Classic Rock, Pop, Beach Music, Bluegrass, Oldies
and Top 40 hits. With three equally capable main vocalists,
this diversity gives their dancing audiences the opportunity
to enjoy everything from Waltzing to Two-step to Rock ‘N
Roll to The Twist -- they can even line dance to The
Electric Slide. BLEND keeps an audience involved and
wondering just what they’ll do next!
To further explain BLEND’s backgrounds, one BLEND vocalist has sung over 1100 nation-wide radio jingles and also works as a professional studio vocalist. Its members have opened shows for and/or accompanied many of today’s legends on stage: Sawyer Brown, The Kentucky Head-hunters, Donna Fargo, Del Reeves, Bill Anderson and others. Two BLEND members are songwriters also. Some of their original songs are currently being played by Country Radio. BLEND is Kathe Beaver, Vocals/Keyboard; Clancy Lyons, Lead Guitar; Johnny Knuckles, Vocals/Drums; Deano Cox, Vocals/Bass. Ted Beaver is Manager and Sound Technician. |
